Warrior Pose and Strength

On the tenth day of Christmas, Yoga gave to me…

Warrior Pose and Strength!

It has been known that the end of the year and all its festivities can be one of the hardest times of year for some families. Times where we may miss old friends, or family that may have left this world, or times of loneliness in a time of expected togetherness.

Today, find the strength in yourself and your heart to move forward and carry on. Give yourself permission to find your strength and use it to heal and protect.

Your strength may come in many different forms but whatever and however you find it is ok. Do what you can. Use what you have, here and now, to pull all your strength together and smile.

Warrior Pose may help.

Standing in Mountain Pose, jump or step your feet apart in a wide stance.

Face your body and hips towards your front foot and rotate your back foot in slightly.

Bend your front knee in line with your ankle.

Inhale lift your arms above your head.

Exhale and stretch out your arms in line with your shoulders.

Stand strong like the warrior you are inside, with an open heart and a smile! 🙂
