World Environment Day 2013

Sunset over Perth
Today is World Environment Day!  A day to be thankful for all the beauty that surrounds us, a day to be grateful for all the earth’s treasures that help nourish and keep us alive! Today we can all make big or little changes in the way we live that will help for a better future for the planet.

Check out Perth’s Eco Hub, http://www.ecohub.perth.wa.gov.au/news/world-environment-day-2013/ for this years World Environment Day theme.  It just so happens that this year’s theme has coincided with our Rainbow Yogis Mindful Living blog post on reducing your “Foodprint”!

This morning and yesterday in exciting preparation, our little Rainbow Yogis decided to create a page in there visual diaries in dedicated to World Environment Day.

Here is what they created!

For all you WA folk here The WA Forest Alliance and the Conservation Council of WA are holding a fantastic information seminar at The Atrium Theatre in Perth.  You Can find out more and register your attendance here.  This is the kind of event Rainbow Yogis really love and support.  The best way to affect change is through education! 🙂

It would be great if you could make it along to find out how you can help protect our magic forests!

Family Rainbow will also be continuing on our journey of love for our Earth this weekend at The Children’s Forest Whiteman Park, Planting hundreds of trees. Check out their website for more information.

We hope you all have a blissful, magic filled World Environment Day!!

Love and Light!
