Rainbow Yogis at Nannup Music Festival 2012

The littles with Bex Hazeberry from Ruby Boots!

Rainbow Yogis enjoyed Acro Yoga and Earth Warrior yoga adventures at this years Nannup Music Festival.

Our workshop was under the beautiful trees of the shady glades, a quiet little corner hidden away from the main hustle and bustle and excitement of the festival.

The Wally Show
starring Lee Nelson

An amazing weekend camping with the artists and musicians. Where acoustic guitars and beautiful singing voices echoed through the festival grounds after festival hours, a real treat for our littles to be amongst.

Meeting artists such as Bex from Ruby Boots who invited my daughter to meet up after the show to play her guitar and setting up tent next to clown Wally (Lee Nelson) and his family, teaching my son some sneaky circus tricks were some of the highlights for my family.

We were also inspired by young musician Minnie Marks,  got “Gyped” by the energetic Gypsie Howls and I think Swamp Thing could be heard all the way to Bridgetown.

Making Juggling Balls
Busking with Poi

In the playground the children got creative making Poi, juggling balls and painting pots whilst the Amazing drumming monkeys made us jump giggle and dance.

Its times like these where I truly believe that taking that extra day off school and everyday life to join the travelling gypsies of the festivals that my children really shine. If its not busking to be able to purchase that special little treat or being a Rainbow Yogi assistant, learning to juggle orbs or even running around barefoot amongst the Nannup bush dust, this has been a magical learning family experience for all.
